Red flags for childs behaviour – The Red Flags program was created as a school-based depression awareness and intervention program by Mental Health America of Summit County. RedFlags helps youth, parents respond to signs of depression and related mental health issues. The depression related suicide as the leading disease-related cause of death and disability in children between the ages of 11-24.As a Universal Prevention program, RedFlags involves the entire community and has been proven to reduce stigma, enhance emotional intelligence, and improve school climate. It is flexible, simple to implement and low cost.This Program to educate children about the symptoms of depression if they do not receive support and understanding from their teachers and friends. To understand the symptoms of early-onset bipolar disorder in children, it’s helpful to look at the problems of a child and behaviour.You observe the flag of your child in his/her own environment and won’t want to appear conspicuous. Do not single him or her out in any way, it is important not to single the child out. Also, your depressed kids may present symptoms that seem different from those of adults. It is important to be aware of any signs of depression in your kids.

Look help for your child if below given signs continue to exist:

Frequent sadness, tearfulness or crying, Expressions of hopelessness, Withdrawal from activities; inability to enjoy them, Excessive sensitivity to rejection or failure; taking things to personally, Persistent malaise or frequent complaints of physical illness, such as headaches, backaches or stomachaches, Frequent absences, disciplinary problems or poor performance in school.
