Smriti Irani is appointed head of BJP’s Women’s Wing (Mahila Morcha)

Smriti Irani is appointed head of BJP’s Women’s Wing (Mahila Morcha). Smriti Irani, actor-turned politician known for popular role “saas-bahu” serials, was on Tuesday appointed head of the party’s women’s wing as the president of party’s Mahila Morcha.

While Himachal Pradesh CM Prem Kumar Dhumal’s son and Lok Sabha MP Anurag Thakur was named head of the youth wing. As head of the Mahila Morcha, Irani will be an ex-officio member of the CEC.

Smriti Erani is an Indian television actress, producer and politician, popularly known from the famous Hindi television soap opera, “Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi”, in which she played the main character of Tulsi Virani.

SmritiIrani joined leading political Party, Bharatiya Janta Party in 2003. Smriti today is chief of BJP women’s wing and play a key role in party’s campaigns and strategies.
