The boat of Rahul Mahajan marriage has rocked again and both Rahul and Dimpy have been under stern media attention ever since the news of Rahul Mahajan beating Dimpy Mahajan was spalashed across nation.
Dimpy Ganguly and Rahul Mahajan got married to each other on the NDTV Imagine reality show ‘Rahul Dulhaniya Le Jayega’ in March this year amidst huge fanfare and high media attention. It was watched by millions across the country and even abroad. It seems there’s trouble in paradise.

Dimpy Mahajan told NDTV channel on July 30- “Rahul beat me up early Thursday morning after waking me up to know the contents of a message that had beeped on my phone. When I asked him to go back to sleep, he flew into a rage and began hitting me. He punched, kicked and dragged me by the hair.” Dimpy left Rahul’s place after the spat at around 4 a.m. Thursday. She reportedly stayed with Poonam Mahajan, Rahul’s sister, after alleged physical abuse by her husband. She later returned home after Rahul Mahajan sincerely apologised. Rahul remained unavailable for his reaction despite repeated attempts.
Rahul Mahajan is not new to controversy.
Rahul’s marriage with his first wife Shweta Singh headed for a split because of domestic violence. According to Payal Rohtagi (Rahul’s former girlfriend), he had hit her twice and had also banged her head against the door once. Rahul was also once arrested on charges of drug abuse.
