Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan’s wax figure will join celebrities like Johnny Depp and Robert Pattinson at the Madame Tussauds museum in New York’s Times Square tomorrow. SRK’s growing fan base even in abroad ensured that he is named one of Newsweek’s ’50 Most Powerful People in the World’ in 2008. The actor already has a statue at Tussauds Los Angeles branch and his latest wax figure will be dressed in a black suit and white shirt, a statement from the museum said.
The new wax figure will be unveiled with a bunch of colorfully Bollywood dancers performing to the soundtrack from his latest film My Name Is Khan. The producers of MNIK have also planned to have the DVD release of the hit film at the same time.
