‘Lafangey Parindey’ film is about a group of youngsters (bike gangs) living on the backstreets of Mumbai. Lafangey Parindey is love story of Nandu (Neil Nitin Mukesh) and Pinky (Deepika Padukone) whose path to love is paved by friendship, grit and hope. Neil Nitin Mukesh plays the character of Nandu, a fighter who pummels his opponents in the ring blindfolded. Deepika Padukone plays Pinky Palkar, a dancer who is blind but ambitious and dances with roller skates on her feet. He teaches her to see and she teaches him how to love.

Review of Lafangey Parindey
Lafange Parinde rating is * * * * (4 stars) and the film is worth watching once. Both Neil Nitin Mukesh and Deepika Padukone have done a good job. Neil Nitin Mukesh has turned into a very mature actor despite having a very unusual name for Bollywood – where Khans, Kapoors and Bachhans rule. Deepika Padukone who for the first time plays the role of a blind girl in the backdrop of Mumbai streets – is great. Playing blind is not an easy task and let me tell you – she has done a good job. The title song “Lafangey Prindey” is good and something that viewers come out humming from the hall.
The dialogues picked up from the streets of Mumbai like “Vaat lag gayi” or “Dimaag ka keeda” and the other tapori dialogus are great. Do not expect it to be your typical multiplex fil. Go and watch it to enjoy your typical hindi masala film.
