Why planning plays a crucial role in your weight loss

If you want to lose your weight – planning plays a crucial role in your weight loss program, says Abhijit Bobade who is a contributing author for We Women Today.

Whenever anyone decides to go for weight loss or decides to go on diet, the first thing that comes to his/her mind is what to eat and what not to eat ?, but hardly do we consider the importance of role played by Proper Planning in weight loss.

A person mostly depends on following things for reducing his/her weight:

  1. Proper diet
  2. Proper exercise
  3. Proper medicinal help etc.

But, we rarely see people or even dieticians talking about proper planning of diet for reducing weight.

I have hardly seen people, giving priority to proper planning to reduce their weight; the first thing that comes to our mind is our food, and not planning of food.

We fail to realize that there are people who eat a lot, yet they do not put on weight, and there are people who eat less but even then they keep on gaining weight, I think the answer to this puzzle lies in the fact that different people have differentbody metabolism.

But if we analyze things properly we shall realize that people have different body metabolism for various reasons which can be their heredity, their life style, their work atmosphere or family atmosphere etc.

Now, I would like to connect here two things:

  1. Proper planning
  2. Body Metabolism

As I said earlier, whenever we talk of weight loss the first thing that comes to our mind is “Food”, but many of us do not have time or money or so easy access to diet food or I would say many of us do not have choice for that “diet food”, so I would request to give due importance to proper planning as well.

Once we have a fool proof plan in our hand (yes I mean written plan) then I guess 50% of job is done, what we need to do is make a proper list of whatever daily food items we consume in a whole day and how these food items can be broken down in to small segments so that they can provide us the required nutrition and energy and at the same time will improve our metabolism.

I know there are many ways how we can improve our metabolism, and to get a good health it is necessary that one should have a good metabolism, anyways.

I hope to increase awareness of proper planning amongst people who wish to have good health, good body physique and yes good life.

We should not forget that even yoga and many of past rushi/munis gave huge importance to the fact that “One should have right food at the right time”, I wonder if they gave us same message thousand years back, which we, in our hectic lifestyle neglected.
