Vidya Balan named best actress at Filmfare Awards 2012

Vidya Balan won the best actress award at the 57th Idea Filmfare Awards, Vidya Balan named best actress at Filmfare Awards 2012held at Reliance Media Works Studios, Film City in Mumbai on January 29, 2012. Vidya Balan won for the Movie “The Dirty Picture”.  Vidya Balan has received five Filmfare Awards, including two for Best Actress and one for Best Actress (Critics). Vidya Balan has thus established herself as one of the leading contemporary actresses of Hindi cinema.

Vidya Balan’s “The Dirty Picture” spins the story around love, lust and aloneness. In the Movie “The Dirty Picture” the Scene of the Year won by the dialogue “’Picture sirf teen wajahon se chalti hai Entertainment-Entertainment –Entertainment”.

Ranbir Kapoor receives the award for ‘Best Actor’ for ‘Rockstar ‘ from Yash Chopra and Rekha. Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara the best film honour.

Aruna Irani who has been a part of the Indian film industry for 51 years now has been awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award at the 57th Idea Filmfare Awards held at Reliance Media Works Studios in Mumbai  Mr Ramesh Sippy and Raveena Tandon present ‘Lifetime Achievement Filmfare Award’ to her.

Irshad Kamil for ‘Nadaan Parindey’ of ‘Rockstar’ has won the ‘Best Lyrics Award’ at 57th Idea Filmfare Awards.  He received the award from Anu Malik and Anuradha Paudwal at the 57th Idea Filmfare Awards.

7 Khoon Maaf for Priyanka Chopra won the best actress (critics’ choice) for her depiction of a woman who kills her seven husbands.

Celebrities like Bipasha Basu, Madhuri Dixit, Sameera Reddy, Shreya Ghoshal, Onir, Farhan, Zoya, Deepika Padukone, Madhur Bhandarkar, Abhishek Bachchan, Rekha, Raveena Tandon, Anurag Kashyap, Subhash Ghai, Dia Mirza, Aditi Rao Hydari,Sarah Jane Dias and Gauri Khan walked the red carpet.
