Shamita Shetty was born on 2 February 1979 in a traditional family that sleet from the Bunt community of Udupi. She retired form acting in 2011 and settle down as an interior designer.
Shamita Shetty made her first appearance in the Yash raj films “Mohabbatein”. Then she acted in so many films but she got her solo success in “Zeher” movie. Shamita Shetty had done item songs which are very popular songs. She establishes more achievement in item songs as well as “Sharara Sharara” in the movie “Mere Yaar Ki Shaadi Hai” (2001) and “Chori Pe Chori” in the movie Saathiya (2002).
Shamita Shetty was in Bigg Boss Season 3 on Colors TV in 2009 for 7 weeks that is 41days in the show. She left the show on 14 November 2009, because of her sister Shilpa Shetty’s wedding.
