Mona Kapoor (48) ex wife of Boney Kapoor passes away on 25th March, 2012 i.e., Sunday after fighting with stage 3 multiple organ cancer. Mona Kapoor was ill from the last five months and two weeks previously; she was admitted to Hinduja Hospital in Mumbai.
Mona Kapoor is the daughter of producer Sattee Shourie. Mona Kapoor was the CEO of Future Studios, which is a major completely equipped indoor shooting studio in the Mumbai city.
Mona Kapoor also produced successful television shows like ‘Hera Pheri’, ‘Yug’, ‘Wilayatee Babu’ and ‘Kaise Kahoon’.
Mona Kapoor had two children from Boney Kapoor son Arjun and daughter Anshala . Arjun Kapoor is set for his Bollywood debut Ishaqzaade.
Mona Kapoor was active on Twitter in her last days on 16th March, 2012 she had tweeted, “Once more anyone asks how I am, I will block them. You all know I am in hospital and battling stage 3 multiple organs cancer. Kindly pray for me. That’s all.”
But the paryer’s did not help her to fight with multiple organ cancer. Mona Kapoor passes away. The entire Bollywood Industry paid her condolences by personally and taken to Twitter .
The funeral held at Pavan Hans in Santa Cruz on 26th March, 2012.
“My aunt @monakapoor3 funeral is at 10.30 am Tom (Monday) 26th at Pavan Hans,” tweeted actress Sonam Kapoor.
