Dangerous Ishq Hindi movie Review
Vikram Bhatt comes up with a complex concept with a clarity where a smooth entry from present to past lives is brilliantly portrayed with less loopholes. The director in the past had failed to show with a film titled Phir based on the same concept. But This time round, he does good job to the subject of past-life regression. Are going for Dangerous Ishhq, this flick is just like Dr Brian Weiss, watching after about some pages, it gets uninteresting.
Dangerous Ishhq’s plot is very gripping as it as the Past Life Regression concept in it and this will be a very fascinating movie for the people who are not unaware of Past Life Regression and wanted to know about it. PLR is one’s journey, through meditation or hypnosis, into your last birth. An unsolved past life aspects could make trouble in one’s current life.
This Therapy can significantly help the person in understanding these problems and aid them to bring back the beautiful life by understanding and solving the root causes of these symptoms. In this flick Sanjana played by Karisma Kapoor attempts to solve, through Past Life Regression, the mystery adjoining her past lives. This one is not the first Indian film on this topic, Shonar Kella Bengali movie directed by the brilliant storyteller Satyajit Ray, the first film to tackle this issue on film.
Dangerous Ishhq has got the firm plot as it goes for plenty attention-grabbing moments throught out, which the Indian masses can relate to instantaneously. But the screenplay is stretched for a long time. ‘Dangerous Ishhq’ has a fascinating plot-line and writer Amin Hajee keeps the spectator’s interest never go down by putting thrilling episodes that keep you engaged. But the movie falls in the second part of the movie.
The main culprit is the its screenplay that gets boring after a point. The Rajasthani sequences in this time has amazing moments. Different eras are showed in a brilliant way, Vikram Bhatt fetches the spirit of each period perfectly by his sincere effort. If you are a 3D film fan you are sure to be disappointed as this one features a scene or two.
Himesh Reshammiya’s music in ‘Dangerous Ishhq’ is decent. Except ‘Tu Hi Rab Tu Hi Dua’, all other songs will not live in your memory. Girish Dhamija’s dialogue are OK. Karisma Kapoor is back with a big bang and puts out a superb performance. It’s an eye candy to watch her in different avatars from different eras and cultures. Rajniesh Duggall does his part well. Jimmy Shergill came up with a perfect act.
Divya Dutta is wasted. And the rest of the cast are just OK in their performances.Good parts of the flick are Good act by Karisma Kapoor, a crisp direction, smart editing and cinematography are the strengths. Bad parts are its storyline coming first, powerless dialogues, and the music. Overall, with Dangerous Ishq, Karisma Kapoor is back to Bollywood as a finest actor with a stunning act.
All in all, wait for a DVD or check out other options to enjoy this weekend.
