Actress Sonakshi Sinha started her film career with the action comedy movie Dabangg (2010) opposite to Salman Khan. The movie also marked her debut in the Hindi film industry. Sonakshi Sinha got a Film fare Award for Best Female Debut for the film Dabangg. Sonakshi Sinha lost 30 kgs for the role as Village Girl Rajo in the Dabangg movie.
After the success of Dabangg, Sonakshi has graced on the covers of Vogue, Maxim and Marie Claire magazines but the actress maintains that she will not do intimate scenes or sport a bikini ever on screen.
Sonakshi Sinha is the daughter of veteran actor and politician Shatrughan Sinha and Punam Sinha. Sonakshi Sinha has two brothers, Luv Sinha and Kussh Sinha. She studied fashion designing at SNDT in Mumbai. Sonakshi Sinha started her career as a model. She walked the ramp at Lakme Fashion Week in 2008 and 2009.
