Electric rickshaws for backward women – Now the backward women will get a chnace to kick start and drive the newly made Electric rickshaws launched by the Ummeed and Centre for Equity and Inclusion (CEQUIN) with a program called Ummeed ki Rickshaw which will provide a women dignity and respect.
‘Ummeed ki Rickshaw’ comes up with Environment friendly electric rickshaws is an initiative to boost up economically backward women in India. In the pictures it will be seen that Kohinoor, a 33-year old single mother with 2 young boys trying her all efforts to drive the Electric rickshaw.
The program will offer women to earn a living with dignity and respect. Ummeed will offer and maintain the electric rickshaws and train the women to use the vehicles. The rickshaw can be driven easily and cause no pollution.
